About Envent

Steve Sellinger is a co-founder of Envent, and has 25 years experience in the petroleum industry. He holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering and an M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Southern California. Steve began his career as a roughneck based out of Elk City, Oklahoma, then for 5 years worked as an engineer for Union Oil at the Los Angeles Refinery. In 1994 Steve left Union Oil to start Envent Corporation. He is actively involved in project scoping, business development and contract negotiations. Tom Kerscher is Senior Vice President of Envent. Tom joined Envent in 1996 after leaving Unocal where he worked as an engineer and manager in the maintenance and planning division at the Los Angeles Refinery. He earned a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1989. Tom manages the engineering, operations and safety divisions of the company. Steven Hood is the Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Envent.  Steven joined Envent in 2013 after 15 years of experience leading sales organizations at Allied now Republic Services, a leading national waste comapny .  He earned a B.S. Tim White recently joined Envent Corporation as the Director of Gulf Coast Region Operations, reporting to our COO, Tom Kerscher.  Tim is located in the company’s La Porte, Texas regional office. In this role, he will develop and expand field operations initiatives throughout the Gulf Coast Region, while allowing Envent to continue to execute water and air compliance projects between Corpus and New Orleans.  Tim has more than 30 years of project execution and management experience in the power, environmental compliance, and water and wastewater industries. John has 30 years of experience in the petroleum industry. He started his career with the Union Oil Company at the Los Angeles Refinery managing the hazardous waste, wastewater and groundwater programs. He left Union Oil and has for the past twenty years started up or managed five environmental or industrial service companies. John has a B. Keith is Envent’s Director of West Coast Operations. He manages all daily field operations and interfaces with customer project managers. Keith has 26 years of environmental contractor experience. Following his honorable discharge from the Army Ranger Program in 1989 he worked as a manager of a wastewater treatment plant in Oahu, HI. In 1998, Keith joined Envent. Ivan is the Gulf Coast’s Operations Manager. Ivan manages all aspects of Envent’s engineering and operational excellence programs. Ivan received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2004 from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. Also in 2004, Ivan passed the FE exam and is currently working toward his PE license. Ivan served as a Naval Officer for 5 years, the last two years managing the upkeep, maintenance, and operations of a nuclear reactor onboard the aircraft carrier USS RONALD REAGAN. Kamran is Envent’s Project Engineer. He manages projects, provides engineering support, design, and environmental permitting. Kamran holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, received in 2004. Kamran has his EIT certificate and is working on his PE license. Prior to joining Envent in 2009, Kamran worked as an engineer for a combustion control manufacturer for refinery heaters and industrial boilers. Ivan is a West Coast account engineer with Envent Corportation. Ivan received his B.S. in International Relations in 2005 from the United States Military Academy in New York. Following his commissioning, Ivan served as an Infantry Officer for 5 years. He spent 4 years at Fort Benning in Georgia, initially training, then as a Platoon Leader through a tour in Iraq. He finished his service as a Battalion Logistics Officer starting up a Light Infantry Brigade in Fort Bliss, Texas. Mynor joined the Envent team in February 2009 as the Onsite Safety Specialist/Field Supervisor. He is now the Accounts Receivable/Payable Manager responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services. This includes processing, monitoring, inputting time tickets, ensuring accuracy and keeping accurate track of all contracted rates.
