Steve Sellinger

CEO

Steve Sellinger is the CEO and co-founder of Envent Corporation and has over 30 years of experience in the petroleum industry. He oversees high-level P&L management, risk management, growth strategy, regulatory compliance, business development, and marketing, while co-directing customer contract negotiations. Steve is passionate about innovation and technology, continually challenging his teams to find smarter, safer, and more efficient ways to deliver results.

He holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering and an M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Southern California. Steve began his career as a roughneck in Elk City, Oklahoma, before joining Union Oil’s Los Angeles Refinery as an engineer. In 1994, he left Union Oil to launch Envent Corporation and continues to play an active role in business development and strategic planning.

Tom Kerscher is Senior Vice President and Senior Advisor at Envent Corporation. Tom joined Envent as an owner in 1996 after leaving Unocal, where he served first as an engineer and later as manager in the maintenance and planning department at the Los Angeles Refinery. He is passionate about delivering fully engineered solutions to complex operational and environmental challenges.

Tom earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1989 and is based in Envent’s Houston, Texas office. With nearly three decades of leadership at Envent, Tom continues to mentor the next generation of engineers and drive technical excellence across all service lines. His hands-on approach and commitment to innovation have been instrumental in shaping Envent’s reputation for safety, reliability, and performance.

Weston joined Envent in April 2026 with 15 years of leadership experience in the energy services sector. He began his career at Spectra Energy, spending six years in pipeline and compression engineering before advancing to Engineering Supervisor, where he led brownfield and greenfield compressor station projects.

In 2017, he joined Strike LLC, a diversified energy services company serving upstream, midstream, and downstream markets. There, he built and scaled the EPC Services group from five to over sixty professionals, implementing estimating discipline and execution processes that drove consistent results. He rose to Senior Vice President of Capital Projects, with responsibility across engineering, manufacturing, capital projects, and field operations. He also developed strong relationships with major operators throughout the midstream and downstream industry.

Weston holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University.

Brent is a seasoned financial executive with a career built in the energy sector. He began his career at Plains All American Pipeline before earning his MBA from Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business. He spent three years as an investment banker in Citigroup’s Global Energy Group, advising E&P, midstream, downstream, and oilfield services companies on transactions totaling over $13 billion.

Brent then moved into private equity at Pickering Energy Partners, rising to Vice President and deploying more than $400 million across midstream, upstream, and oilfield services investments. Most recently, he has served as CFO for private equity-backed companies, first with Juniper Capital’s energy portfolio and most recently with EXT Fire & Life Safety, where he has led audits, built consolidated reporting and FP&A processes from the ground up, executed M&A transactions, and secured complex credit facilities.

Brent holds a BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Rice University.

Chad Fernandes serves as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Envent Corporation, operating from the company’s corporate office in Houston. Transitioning from his role as Regional Sales Manager for the West Coast, he has consistently built and led high-performing sales teams while driving effective market expansion initiatives.

With a robust background in both sales and operations management, Chad brings a unique blend of commercial and technical insight to his role, delivering value-driven solutions for Envent’s customers. His focus on client relationships, team development, and performance accountability has been central to Envent’s continued growth and reputation for service excellence.
