Envent Corporation’s recirculating scrubbers exceed the EPA’s Best Available Control Technology (BACT). Our systems can be placed in-line with an Envent Mobile Thermal Oxidation System (EMTOS™) to meet NSPS Subpart Ja H2S and SO2 standards for refinery fuel gas, MSS Permit limits, or complex odor mitigation projects.
Envent maintains a complete line of blowers, ranging from low vacuum to high vacuum and low flow to high flow. Our engineering team helps you select and size the right blower for your specific air moving and degassing needs to keep your project on schedule and in compliance.
Our fleet features specialized Knock-Out Pots (KO Pots) designed to protect downstream equipment by removing entrained liquids and moisture from the vapor stream. This pre-treatment step is critical for preventing liquid carryover into carbon beds or thermal oxidizers, which can lead to media fouling or system shutdowns.
The Escrub™ and EVAC units, powered by our proprietary VaporBite™ Technology and VapoScrub™ chemicals, provide a specialized solution for plants, oil fields, refineries, vacuum trucks, and MSS vapor control needs. These high-efficiency systems maximize gas-to-liquid contact to achieve superior neutralization of toxic sulfur compounds and volatile organics.

Envent has the largest fleet of odor control units, always ready for emergency response 24/7. We provide immediate solutions for pipelines, sewers, digesters, tanks, vacuum trucks, and high-flow air movers. Our systems stop noxious smells at the source, protecting both workers and the community from nuisance odors and hazardous gasses.
Our odor control fleet provides high-performance mitigation for community-sensitive areas. These units use a multi-stage approach, combining mechanical filtration with targeted chemical scrubbing, to neutralize mercaptans and H2S before they cross the fence line.
Envent manages the largest fleet of carbon scrubber units in the industry, available 24/7 for rapid deployment. These units are specifically designed for pipeline, sewer, digester, and tank projects requiring high-efficiency VOC abatement. Our carbon scrubbing technology handles high-volume air movers and vacuum truck exhaust to make sure all vapor streams stay within air quality limits.
By utilizing premium-grade activated carbon and proprietary internal distributors, our systems maximize adsorption capacity while minimizing pressure drop across the media bed.
We provide total vapor management through our full line of vapor scrubbers and liquid ring vacuum systems. By combining Escrub™ units with our blowers and thermal oxidizers, our field technicians and engineers make sure you have a complete solution for high-volume transfers and refinery cleaning.
Our high-performance liquid ring technology acts as a powerful vacuum source and a primary scrubbing stage, significantly increasing the velocity of product recovery while simultaneously neutralizing hazardous emissions
The Problem: A Midwest plant needed to degas storage tanks for inspections while under heavy scrutiny to meet federal air quality standards. The site had to clear hydrocarbon vapors quickly to stay on schedule without failing the strict destruction efficiency required by the EPA.
What We Did: Envent deployed a high-capacity EMTOS (Envent Mobile Thermal Oxidizer System). We built a direct recovery line from the tanks to our unit, which OQ-qualified technicians operated at over $1,400°F. This reached a 99.99% destruction efficiency. We provided continuous monitoring and data logs to give the facility the verified records required for their compliance files.
The Result: The project finished on time, allowing safe tank entry. Envent’s system met all requirements, keeping the project in 100% regulatory compliance. By using high-temp thermal oxidation, the facility avoided fines and successfully managed its environmental impact with zero vapor releases.
The Problem: A contractor required a 90-day Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) pilot to remove BTEX, TCE, and PCE. Because the site was within 2,000 feet of a public school, it faced intense SCAQMD scrutiny, requiring 100% emission control and zero odors to avoid immediate shutdown.
What We Did: Envent mobilized a pre-permitted, 500 SCFM SVE trailer the next day. We utilized a 4,000 lb dual-vessel carbon system and a 14-foot stack to ensure total vapor capture. Our technicians performed daily sampling and provided weekly Rule 1166 data logs to verify site safety.
The Result: The project achieved 100% compliance with non-detect stack samples throughout the 90-day period. With zero complaints and verified performance data, the client secured immediate regulatory approval for the permanent remediation system.

Blower selection depends on the required flow rate (CFM), the distance of the piping run (Static Pressure), and the nature of the gas. Envent’s engineering team helps you size the system—ranging from low-vacuum air movers to high-vacuum liquid ring systems, to ensure your degassing stays on schedule.
Scrubbers provide a continuous “closed-loop” treatment of the vapor space. This allows for higher removal efficiency and can be used in-line with thermal oxidizers to meet stringent standards like NSPS Subpart Ja for H2S and SO2 without releasing emissions into the atmosphere.
Knock-Out Pots (KO Pots) act as a first line of defense against liquid carryover. They remove entrained liquids and moisture from the vapor stream before it reaches the blower or carbon media. This prevents mechanical damage and “blinding” of the carbon, which can drastically reduce system efficiency.
Don’t let inadequate air flow stall your project or lead to permit issues. Speak with an Envent engineer to get the right blower and scrubber package for your site.
